The Topshop competition brief was to develop a 10 piece collection which characterises a strong commercial awareness, whilst pushing the boundaries of innovative design in an aspirational and exciting way. 2018 celebrates 100 years since the beginnings of Suffragette movement, and women are feeling stronger than ever. Drawing inspiration from the statues of Athena to the Haute Couture of Madame Grès, this exciting collection aims to emphasise the goddess inside every woman. Effectively using digital printing techniques to create a trompe l'oeil effect. These stunning designs are lent even more volume and energy whilst at the same time reducing fabrication cost and time. |
